The Reacting Consortium Board is pleased to announce an exciting new development. Because of a generous new grant from the Teagle Foundation, we shall be hiring a full-time Membership and Outreach Coordinator for the Reacting Consortium. The Coordinator should hold a bachelor's degree with strong communication and technology skills; preference may be given to a candidate who has experience in a “Reacting to the Past” course. S/he will have an office at Barnard College in New York City, the host institution of the Consortium.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Administrative Manager, and Consortium Board, the Coordinator will maintain contact with member institutions; develop campus and regional faculty workshops; and collaborate with new and existing instructors. S/he will also serve as community and content manager for electronic resources and communicate information on new resources, events, and curricular innovations to members. In addition, the Coordinator will assist efforts to publicize RTTP and introduce it to additional colleges and universities.
The job posting is now available on the Barnard College Human Resources web site. Review of applications will begin January 20 and continue until the position is filled.
